Drake premiered a new song on Apple Music’s OVO Radio show with Nas’ take on Future’s March Madness single. This is dope…
DJ OP connects with Harlem’s own and recent Nas’ signee Dave East for their 3rd offering called No Time. This single is tough! and great music for the streets.
Coldplay and Beyonce release a video for their collaborative single from their 8th album A Head Full Of Dreams. The Ben Mor-directed video features Chris Martin traveling throughout the beautiful city of Mumbai, India. Beyonce is (controversially) depicted as a god of sorts. The artists claim that they did not mean to offend anyone but only wanted to promote the annual Holi Festival of Colours which goes down every March. Cool video!
Vince Staples returns fresh off of his Summertime ’06 album where he delivered some quality music for his fans. For the video to Lift Me Up, Vince raps through his hometown while slowly being suspended in the air — a visual representation for Staples needing to get his voice heard.
NYC’s RonSoQuiet collaborates with Benny Swishers to use tight bars and flow to create a uniquely mellow sound that offers plenty of reasons to listen. Check it out.
J.Cole celebrated his 31st birthday with the release of a surprise album, Forest Hills Drive: Live. The 13-track album consists of live recordings from his homecoming concert in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Earlier today, J.Cole dropped the video for Love Yourz which is personally my favorite track on the album.
